Outside of the Classroom...

This week we did many things. Besides the copious amount of school and homework we had quiet a few adventures.
The Tayelet (Boardwalk):
It wasn't a board walk at the beach so don't get too excited. First thing I did when we got off the bus there was run to the bathroom and puke. I love getting bus sick! Then we had Jewish History class. Funniest part: Some guys were (in my opinion) creepily staring at us and I asked our teacher to ask them to leave and then they decided he was only asking them to leave because they were Arab so they just kept yelling in hebrew, "We are Arab!!!!"
Anyways then we had some lunch, it was schnitzel as usual, and then we left the Tayelet.

Jewish Quarter:
We had free time at the Jewish Quarter and walked around shopping for a bit. Me and Maddie got really funny shirts! People there really like to try and sell you stuff! Its kinda aggressive.

The City of David:
We then went on the have class in the City of David. We walked around looking at the ruins of the old temple and talking about King David. We sat down and while my classmates were trying to act out a short skit about David the tour group next to us decided to be very rude and turn up their speaker.

Ben Yehuda:
We went to Ben Yehuda Street one night. That was an interesting scene. There was a large group of people having a break dancing competition so that was cool. The amount of people I saw walking around holding hookahs and just smoking while they walked was crazy! This country is so different from America... or at least the part of America I am from.

Shuk (Market):
This place was beyond crazy! There was so many people! I was terrified! And everyone said you could get cheap things, but I did not find that to be the case, but whatever I had my first satisfying meal! My meal: a tortilla with potatoes and ketchup! Classic Shoshana move.
Whelp thats all folks!
